The Large Shelf is a wall-mounted display shelf in the Shelves group of Decorations. It is described in-game as shelves crudely nailed together for storing food and rum, and it is the cheapest large shelf available, sharing the same plant-fiber recipe as the Small Shelf. Shelves are decoration only: actual inventory storage uses Storage Containers, not these display pieces.
It mounts to any wall piece and its flat surface accepts smaller decoration items such as books, dishes, and ship models. Like every comfort decoration it only counts while inside the radius of a fueled Bonfire, and pieces left outside that range decay over time.

The Large Shelf costs Plant Fiber x10 and has 3,000 Max Health, double the health of most small lighting decorations. It grants +1 in the Shelf comfort sub-category. Shelf comfort bonuses do not stack, so a second shelf in range adds display space and visual variety but no extra comfort.
If you want a more ornate look for the same comfort, the elegant and luxurious shelves below use Hardwood instead of plant fiber. Stack two shelves on the same wall above a table to build a study or display wall.
