A massive semi-arched double door with stained glass and plaster.

The Large Double Door is the tallest two-leaf opening in the Doors and Doorways category. It is a wider, taller variant of the Double Door, finished with stained glass set into a plaster frame, and is meant for grand entrances on a large base or hall.

Overview

The Large Double Door fills a double-width doorway in a single piece, like the standard Double Door, but with a taller stained glass frame for the upper tier of a wall. It seals the opening against wildlife and raiders while you are away, and it passes both players through together, which is useful for a busy main gate.

As with every door, durability comes from the doorway it is placed in rather than the door panel alone. Building it into a reinforced Wall (Plaster) line and upgrading the surrounding material toward Stone raises how much punishment the entrance can take during a raid.
