The Gabled Canopy is a wall-mounted straw Canopies piece, a triangular gable shade that hangs over a doorway or porch to break up a flat wall and mark an entrance. It is decorative: it does not block projectiles or weather. It is taught by Plans: Straw Roofs and Triangular Walls, costs Wood x5 plus Plant Fiber x5, builds in one second, and has 1,000 maximum health.

Like all canopies it gives a Canopy Comfort bonus of +1, and that bonus does not stack: a second canopy in the same room changes only the look, not the comfort total. The piece works only within range of a Bonfire. Since an April 30, 2026 hotfix, canopies also count as a roof for crafting-station placement, so a covered station such as a stove or alchemy table will register a canopy overhead as a valid covering.
