Fireplaces is indoor fire pieces that provide Comfort and visual warmth without the cooking functionality of a Cooking Fire. Windrose offers 8 fireplace and chimney pieces plus a Flue category piece.

The Luxurious Fireplace is a decoration only: it provides Comfort and atmospheric lighting but cannot cook food. The Cooking Fire (craft station) is the station you want for actual meal crafting. Many estates place both: a Cooking Fire in the kitchen and a Luxurious Fireplace in the sitting room.
A Luxurious Fireplace provides a Comfort bonus similar to a Bonfire without blocking indoor placement; ideal for interior Comfort stacks.
Build the Chimney through a Roof piece to vent smoke. The Chimney snaps to a Fireplace Pipe below it.
Fireplace Foundation must be placed on a Floor, not on Foundation blocks; the floor layer is what the piece snaps to.
Firewood Rack is decorative; it does not store actual firewood as a resource.
Multiple fireplaces in the same room do not stack Comfort. Place one per interior room for maximum coverage.
