Firefly is a Common gathering resource in Windrose, collected by hand in the Cursed Swamps. It is an alchemy reagent: its only confirmed use is brewing the Elixir of Firm Hand at the Alchemy Table.

Fireflies appear as small glowing motes around the wetlands at night and are picked up directly from the world, with no tool required. They carry item level 3 and a Common rarity, so they are cheap to stockpile once you have safe access to the swamp biome.

How to Obtain

• Gathered by hand in the Cursed Swamps, the third major biome. They are most plentiful after dark when the glow makes them easy to spot.

• No tool, station, or recipe produces Firefly; it is a pure field-gathered material. Bring a Linen Fabric backpack upgrade if you plan a long collection run, since the swamp is far from the early hubs.

Used in Crafting

Firefly is a confirmed reagent in the recipe below. The base Elixir of Firm Hand grants +13% melee damage for 15 minutes and is brewed instantly at the Alchemy Table.

The base elixir can be refined further: feeding it into the Distiller with 3 Bromeliad and 2 Tear of Sorrow yields the Epic Infused Elixir of Firm Hand, which holds the same +13% melee buff for 30 minutes. So every Firefly run ultimately feeds both the standard and infused melee elixirs.

Tips

• Weight 0.2 per unit with a stack size of 30; a full stack is light, so gather in bulk while you are in the swamp.

• Each Elixir of Firm Hand needs 5 Firefly, so plan around 25 to 30 per boss-prep batch of elixirs.

• Assign Rosalinda Mercer to the Alchemy Table for a chance at bonus elixirs, stretching each Firefly batch further.
