Executioner's Aim is the Crusher branch's crit-chance layer. It pairs naturally with Halberd and Greatsword rotations that land many smaller hits rather than single big ones, because more hits means more crit rolls. The talent applies to any two-handed sword as well, so it is not locked to a single weapon class.
Starting from the class base 5% Critical Hit Chance, rank-3 Executioner's Aim brings base to 17%. Layering Decimation (Executioner halberd on-kill stacks, +10% per stack, 30% max) on top brings the burst window to 47%. Privateer Set 2P adds another +10% for a total of 57% on the Executioner halberd in full swing.
Requires a two-handed weapon in the main slot to apply. Off-hand pistol shots from a two-handed-melee build do not trigger this talent.
Pairs particularly well with the Executioner halberd's Decimation effect because the two crit bonuses stack.
Crit magnitude itself scales with the Mastery stat, so investing in Mastery raises the value of every point spent here.
