Cayenne Pepper Seeds is a Common-tier seed in Windrose used to grow Cayenne Pepper. Seeds plant at a Seedbed with a roughly 1-hour real-time growth cycle, and every harvest refunds 1 seed to keep the loop renewable.

Food Merchant sells Cayenne Pepper Seeds after the Coastal Jungle threat is cleared.
Harvested Saplings also return the seed used, so once a player has one seed the loop is self-sustaining.
A separate Trade Outpost seed crate also exists, bundling several Cayenne Pepper Seeds per crate as a trade or reward purchase.
Per harvest yield: 2-3 Peppers plus 1 Pepper Seed per Sapling harvest.
The Sapling uses a 1-hour real-time growth cycle shared across every crop in Windrose. Crops continue to grow while the game is closed. There is no watering, no fertilizer, no sunlight rule, and no wilt state.
Place the seed in a Seedbed (built from 5 Fertile Soil, four planting slots at the corners). Seedbeds are unlocked after defeating the Coastal Jungle boss (Thomas Richards) and mining Fertile Soil from Ancient Farm ruins in the Foothills.
Cayenne Pepper feeds spicy-tagged cooked dishes, including Tamale, Spicy Breaded Kebab, and Meaty Croc Kebab. These combat meals make the pepper a high priority crop once a captain starts cooking for boss fights and gunfights.

Because every harvest refunds at least one seed, a single wild Cayenne Pepper pickup is enough to start a self-sustaining loop. Plant a full Seedbed of four slots, harvest after roughly an hour, and replant from the refunded seeds while banking the surplus peppers for cooking. Crops keep growing while the game is closed, so sowing before logging off returns a full yield on the next session. For larger volumes, the Farming Contractor in Tortuga can automate bulk production once unlocked.
