Catastrophe's Aftermath is a People of Tortuga faction quest that opens after the tragedy at Tortuga. Pirates ransacked the town and killed the governor along with many innocents, leaving refugees starving. Charlie Sharpe asks the player to kill Jim Godart, one of Blackbeard's minions, before Godart can attack the refugees.
Speak to Charlie Sharpe at the People of Tortuga Main Base after progressing the main story through the events of Tortuga. Charlie briefs the player on Godart's threat and marks the target camp on the map.

Sail to the marked camp. Godart's camp is large and spread across sections of a hill with multiple pirate patrols.
Clear the pirates section by section to avoid grouping them together. Fall back if multiple sections pull at once.
Fight through to the top of the camp.
Defeat Jim Godart to complete the objective.
Return to Charlie Sharpe to hand in the quest.

Stamina management is critical. Enter with full Stamina and at least two food buffs active (see Cooking Recipes).
Ranged weapons shine at this camp. The Musket and Blunderbuss let you thin patrols before they swarm.
Godart is tougher than the rank-and-file pirates. Pull him alone if possible and use Perfect Block to punish his swings.
Doctor Galen asks for 15 Healing Herbs to brew the medicine. The fastest source is Ancient Ruins chests across the Coastal Jungle. Each ruin chest typically drops around three Healing Herbs, so clearing two full ruins usually covers the quota with a few in reserve. Wildlife and surface foliage do not drop Healing Herbs reliably enough to replace the ruin chest route.
Jim Godart's camp stretches up a hillside in several terraces, each populated by a group of pirates. Rushing up the hill stacks every group into a single fight, which is usually unwinnable with early gear. Clear each terrace level independently before climbing to the next. Godart himself is a standard enemy, not a boss, and falls to normal melee combat once isolated from his guards at the summit.
