Bromeliad Seeds is a Common-tier seed in Windrose used to grow Bromeliad. Seeds plant at a Seedbed with a roughly 1-hour real-time growth cycle, and every harvest refunds 1 seed to keep the loop renewable.
Property | Value |

Rarity | Common |
Stack size | 100 |
Plot type | Seedbed only |
Growth time | Approximately 1 hour of real-world time |
Biome (wild source) | |
Crop produced |
Drops alongside Bromeliad when harvesting wild Bromeliad plants in the Cursed Swamps.
Harvested saplings also return the seed used, so once a player has one seed the loop is self-sustaining.
Source | Type | Notes |
|---|---|---|
Gather | Found in the Cursed Swamps; harvesting yields both the crop and seeds. | |
Seedbed harvest | Farm | Each sapling returns 1 seed on harvest, making farmed supply renewable. |
Per harvest yield: Bromeliad plus Bromeliad Seeds per sapling harvest. Because each sapling refunds its seed, a single planted seed can fund an indefinite supply once it is in the ground.
Stat | Value |
|---|---|
Plot | Seedbed only |
Growth time | Approximately 1 hour of real time |
Yield per harvest | Bromeliad plus 1 Bromeliad Seeds refunded |
Offline growth | Yes, crops keep growing while the game is closed |
Watering / fertilizer | None required |
The sapling uses a 1-hour real-time growth cycle shared across every crop in Windrose. Crops continue to grow while the game is closed. There is no watering, no fertilizer, no sunlight rule, and no wilt state.
Place the seed in a Seedbed (built from 5 Fertile Soil, four planting slots at the corners). Seedbeds are unlocked after defeating the Coastal Jungle boss Thomas Richards and mining Fertile Soil from Ancient Farm ruins in the Foothills.
Bromeliad feeds five Alchemy Table elixirs (Firm Hand, Concentration, Cruelty, Precision, and their infused variants). Every elixir uses 3 Bromeliads plus a Tear of Sorrow. Keeping a few Seedbed slots planted with Bromeliad Seeds ensures a steady Bromeliad supply for that elixir line without repeated trips into the swamps.
Plant a starter seed as soon as you clear the Cursed Swamps, since the self-refunding loop means you never have to gather wild Bromeliad again.
Dedicate at least one or two Seedbed slots to Bromeliad if you brew the Firm Hand or Precision elixir lines regularly.
