Armor and Clothing Workshops

Armor and clothing workshops are the tailoring and smithing benches that produce armor sets and apparel in Windrose. The core Armor and Clothing Workshop is the main source of armor in the game, and it accepts extender stations that each unlock a separate family of equipment recipes.
Build the core workshop indoors under a full roof. Partial roof coverage or an open doorway over the station fails its placement check, so the bench must sit inside an enclosed room. Once placed, attach its extenders to widen the recipe list. Unlike some other crafting lines, the extenders do not overlap: each one adds a distinct set of recipes, so it is worth attaching all of them early.
Recipes scale with the workshop's tier. Tier 1 pieces use basic materials such as Rough Hide and Coarse Fabric, while higher tiers swap in refined materials like Tanned Leather and Linen Fabric, and add finishing components for rare-tier gear.
Station | Role |

A complete list of Armor and Clothing Workshops variants in Windrose is shown below, with thumbnail, build cost, and comfort bonus for each entry. Click any name to open its dedicated page.
Image | Variant | Build Cost | Comfort |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wood x5, Coarse Fabric x10 | - | |
| Wood x20, Crocodile Hide Piece x15, Linen Fabric x10, Rough Hide x10 | - | |
| Hardwood x30, Tanned Leather x20, Linen Fabric x15 | - |
Attach the Try-On Mannequin as soon as you can, since set-bonus recipes are gated behind it and are easy to miss if you only build the core bench.
Keep a stock of Linen Fabric and Tanned Leather before a tier upgrade, as the better armor recipes lean on refined materials rather than the raw Rough Hide used early on.
