Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV is a real-time strategy game from KING Art and Deep Silver that returns the series to its classic roots of base-building and large-scale battles. Set on the war-torn world of Kronus roughly two centuries after the events of Dark Crusade, it pits four playable factions against one another: the Space Marines, the Necrons, the Orks, and the Adeptus Mechanicus in their series debut. The game features more than 70 campaign missions spread across four faction storylines with branching choices, plus a two-player cooperative campaign and competitive modes including Skirmish, the returning Last Stand, and ranked 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 multiplayer. A new Combat Director system drives cinematic unit takedowns, while a cover system, powerful stratagems, and unit veterancy add tactical depth.
