Overview

Windrose jungle biome with dense tropical foliage

Adventure Challenges are a set of biome-specific kill-count objectives in Windrose. Each challenge asks the player to defeat a fixed number of a named enemy in a specific biome; completing it awards a decorative trophy or statue that can be mounted in the player's base. The current in-game challenge log records 6 challenges spread across the launch biomes, with additional entries flagged as unavailable while their tracking tags roll out in ongoing Early Access patches.

Challenges run in parallel to normal combat progression. A kill counted toward a challenge also counts toward quest objectives and normal loot drops; the player does not need to start or accept a challenge to begin accumulating progress. The trophy reward is delivered automatically when the kill count threshold is reached, and the build-object recipe unlocks in the player's Decorations menu for placement on walls or floors.

Challenge List

Challenges are grouped by biome. "Not yet recorded" in the Requirement column means the in-game challenge log has not yet surfaced the exact kill count; community trackers expect those figures to come online as the associated tracking tags are enabled in a future patch.

Rewards

Every challenge pays out a decorative trophy or animal statue rather than gear or currency. The reward is added to the Decorations build menu the moment the kill threshold is met, and each trophy is a wall or floor piece that adds a small comfort bonus to a base. The table below lists the decoration each challenge grants.

Enemy	Biome	Trophy Reward
Dodo	Coastal Jungle	Dodo Trophy
Boar	Coastal Jungle	Boar Trophy
Mountain Goat	Foothills	Elite Mountain Goat Horn Trophy
Wolf	Foothills	Wolf Trophy
Crocodile	Cursed Swamps	Cheerful Crocodile Statue, Wise Crocodile Statue

Tips

Kills that count toward a challenge count toward normal quest objectives too; a single hunt can resolve multiple trackers at once.
Challenges cannot be abandoned or reset; the counter is permanent per save. There is no time limit.
Unavailable entries are already present in the challenge log as reserved slots; their tracking tags are expected to come online in later patches.
Trophy rewards are wall-mounted decorations and grant a small comfort bonus; see the main Trophies article for full decoration stats.
