Tears of Metal is a hack-and-slash roguelike in which players fight through waves of enemies across handcrafted battlefields, building powerful loadouts from artifacts and upgrades while managing a permanent Scottish battalion.

The free Tears of Metal demo covered the game's first Act and ended with the boss Gilles the Hog. Released in October 2025 and played more than 250,000 times, it was withdrawn around the July 2026 Early Access launch.
