Launch Week Promotion

Fan Art Challenge: #LeviathanAwakens
A community fan art contest tied to the Deepwing Brooder Leviathan ran from May 2 to May 12, 2026. The community-designed appearance of the Deepwing Brooder Leviathan determines an in-game poster that ships in a future Early Access update. Winners are announced on May 27, 2026. The Deepwing Brooder Leviathan itself is not yet a confirmed in-build creature; the contest produces the design that Unknown Worlds will use when the creature is implemented.
Alterra Pioneer Recruitment
Running alongside launch week, the in-fiction Alterra Corporation Pioneer Recruitment campaign asks community members to take the Alterra Career Aptitude Test (A.C.A.T.). Reaching 100,000 cumulative completions unlocks an in-game poster as a community-wide reward. The campaign threads in-fiction marketing into the launch sequence, framing players as Alterra Pioneers preparing for the Cicada mission to Planet Zezura.
