Enumerated the rating boards on both product listings and noted where they disagree; corrected HDR to cover PC as well as console
Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember is planned for a simultaneous worldwide release in early 2027. This page collects the platform, language, feature and rating information confirmed so far. No release date, price or edition line-up has been announced.
Four platforms have been confirmed since the reveal, and the official platform line also covers cloud streaming on the Xbox family. Nintendo Switch 2 is the series' first release on a Nintendo platform.
Platform | Status |
|---|---|
PC | Confirmed |
PlayStation 5 | Confirmed |
Xbox Series X|S | Confirmed |
Nintendo Switch 2 | Confirmed, and a first for the series |
Product listings are live for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Nintendo listing has not opened yet: the link is present on the official site but is greyed out and inactive.
Feature | Confirmed Detail |
|---|---|
Players | One |
Online multiplayer | Up to three players |
Co-operative play | Online co-op is supported |
Cross-platform | Cross-platform multiplayer and cross-platform co-op are both listed |
Achievements and cloud saves | Both listed on the console side |
Controller support | Full support on console, partial support on PC, including DualSense and DualShock controllers |
How co-op fits into the campaign has not been described. The systems it would run on are covered under Combat.
The console listing records 4K output, 60 frames per second and optimisation for current-generation consoles, with HDR listed for both console and PC. PC system requirements have not been published: the requirement block currently lists only a 64-bit processor and operating system, with the operating system itself marked as undecided. The engine has not been named.
Eleven languages are listed for text: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Full voice acting is listed for English, Simplified Chinese and Japanese. The official website is published in nine locales, and the game carries an official Traditional and Simplified Chinese title, 臥龍2:鳳火連天.
Every rating recorded so far is provisional, which is normal for a game this far from release. The official site carries a Rating Pending mark with a likely Mature 17 and over indication. The two live product listings do not carry the same number of boards: the console listing records eleven rating systems and the PC storefront listing seven. The North American board reads Rating Pending on both, the European board a provisional 18, and the Japanese board Rating Pending. Boards in Brazil, Australia, Indonesia and elsewhere already show provisional adult ratings with descriptors covering violence, drugs and language, and the two listings do not always agree on the figure attached. Final ratings will be assigned closer to launch.
General information about the game is collected under Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, and its announcement history under Development.
