STRANGER THAN HEAVEN is available to pre-order ahead of its January 15, 2027 release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It is sold in three editions: a Standard Edition, a digital Deluxe Edition, and a physical Collector's Edition. The prices below are the United States listings; regional pricing is set separately and differs by market. Pre-orders across every platform include a bonus in-game weapon.
Editions at a Glance
Edition | Price | Format | Summary |
|---|---|---|---|
Standard Edition | $69.99 | Digital and physical | The base game. |
Deluxe Edition | $89.99 | Digital | The base game plus bonus combat, performance, and home base content. |
Collector's Edition | $129.99 | Physical (Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation 5) | A physical package built around the Deluxe content, a SteelBook, a designer box, and a vinyl record. |
Deluxe Edition Contents
The Deluxe Edition bundles the base game with extra content that expands both pillars of play, Combat and performance and showmanship.
Item | Description |
|---|---|
Original Outfit | A unique outfit for the protagonist Makoto Daito. |
Set of 4 New Weapons | Four additional weapons that expand combat options. |
Set of 4 New Skilled Performers | Four extra performers to strengthen shows. |
Set of 3 New Stage Production Items | Three additional stage production elements. |
Special Promotional Poster | An in-game promotional poster. |
Record Player | A home base record player for enjoying music from each era. |
Electronic Camera | An item that expands the in-game photography functionality. |
Collector's Edition
The Collector's Edition is a physical package built around a disc copy of the base game, offered for Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation 5. Alongside the disc it includes a download code for the Deluxe upgrade content, a code for the Dosu: Kagekiri weapon, a premium SteelBook case, a limited-edition designer box with exclusive art, and a 12-inch vinyl record carrying the main theme and a selection of other tracks from the game. It is sold while supplies last. In some regions the physical package is offered on PlayStation 5 only.
Bonus content from the Deluxe upgrade, whether bought outright or redeemed from the Collector's Edition, unlocks as the main story progresses rather than being available from the first minute. The Deluxe upgrade sold with the Collector's Edition is the same content as the Deluxe Edition, so buying both duplicates it.
Pre-Order Bonus
Pre-ordering any edition, physical or digital, grants Dosu: Kagekiri, an exclusive in-game weapon.
The bonus has a cut-off, and the published times are given per region. The Asia listing sets it at 23:59 on January 14, 2027 (UTC+8) on console and 12:59 on January 15, 2027 (UTC+8) on PC. Contents and timing are noted as subject to change, and the advice is to confirm availability at the point of pre-order.

The publisher lists separate prices for Japan, all quoted with tax included. The Standard Edition is sold in both a download and a packaged version at different prices, and the Collector's Edition is packaged only.
