Evie

Evie is the new playable protagonist of Stellar Blade: BLOOD RAIN, introduced when the game was revealed at Summer Game Fest 2026. She is a brand new lead rather than a returning character, and her name reads as a deliberate homage to Eve, the heroine of the original Stellar Blade.

Her defining trait is how she fights. Where Eve relied on a sword in the original game, Evie is a gauntlet-based brawler who attacks with her fists and works in plenty of kicks. The trailer also shows her drawing a reverse-grip blade for certain attacks, along with dodge and parry counters. Her fighting style is covered in more depth on the Combat page.

In the Reveal Trailer

Evie is shown on a mission, tracking a group of suspicious individuals near a train station and holding a vial. She stays in contact with a partner named Canna, who coordinates the mission over comms and mentions something called The Scarlet Sin. When one of the targets injects a substance and transforms into a monster, Evie moves straight into combat.

Beyond this, little has been confirmed about Evie's background or her exact role in the Story. SHIFT UP has said only that the sequel expands the world in a bold new direction.
