Major update: 15 romanceable NPCs (was 12), specific Affection Point values, heart level thresholds
Every NPC has an Affection meter measured in points. You gain points from talking, gifting, doing quests, completing Bulletin Board requests, and finding lost items. You can check your Affection level with any NPC in the Social app on your phone.
The heart levels and their thresholds:
One Heart: 90 Affection Points.
Two Hearts: 220 points. You can now ask the NPC for a photo together.
Three Hearts: 370 points. You can enter their home/bedroom and open the treasure chests there.
Four Hearts: Threshold not confirmed. You can post Bulletin Board requests targeting this NPC.
Five Hearts: Threshold not confirmed. You can ask this NPC to move in with you.
Daily chat: 5 points.
Universal Like gift: 5 points.
Liked gift: 10 points.
Loved gift: 15 points.
Bulletin Board request: 15-25 points (sometimes more).
Finding a lost item: 20 points.
Quest completion: 50 points.
Bulletin Board requests are worth doing even if you do not need the Coins, because the Affection boost adds up fast.
You can romance any of these characters regardless of which gender you choose at the start. To fully romance someone, reach Affection Level 5 and ask them to move in.
Alex -- Furniture store owner (Lex Woodworks). Bedroom: above the shop.
Aurelis -- Chef at Aureleaf Kitchen. Bedroom: above the restaurant.
Delphin -- Fishing mentor at AquaBlue Outpost. Easy gift: Light Blue Hydrangea. Bedroom: inside his home on the pier. (Also referred to as Francis in some versions.)
Graminova -- Farming mentor at Happiness Seed Shop. Easy gift: Wheat. Bedroom: above the shop.
Loren -- Arcade owner (Chrono Arcade). Bedroom: above the arcade.
Lunelle -- Clothing store owner (Ethereal Styles). Bedroom: upstairs in the store.
Neona -- Vehicle seller at G-Power Bikes. Bedroom: above the shop.
Pastelle -- Ranching mentor at Green Pasture Ranch. Bedroom: inside the ranch.
Serena -- Hairdresser at Bloom Atelier. Bedroom: above the salon.
Solara -- Guide and profession certifier at the Community Center. Bedroom: in her house on the street above the Community Center.
Stella -- Pet shop owner and aspiring idol (Woof & Wow Pets). Bedroom: inside the shop.
Sylvain -- Music shop owner (Silvan Notes). Easy gift: Blue Hydrangea. Bedroom: above the shop.
Youfang -- Fortune teller at Balstrom Heights. Bedroom: inside the main temple.
Zephyria -- Exploration mentor at the Exploration Club. Easy gift: Moonflower. Bedroom: upstairs in the club.
Zerine -- Crafting mentor and General Store owner. Bedroom: above the store.
Talk to each NPC every day for the free 5 points. It adds up.
Bulletin Board requests double as both income and relationship building.
Gifts must be carried in your bag (not in storage) to give them.
The Summer 28 beach party is a good opportunity to interact with many NPCs in one place.
