Aurorite Ore
April 25, 2026 at 11:11 AM
Initial version (2026-04-25). Created dedicated page for Aurorite Ore covering deep-forest location, Blast Hammer requirement, Eternal Alloy processing chain, and Aurelis loved gift status.
Aurorite Ore is a high-tier ore found in the deepest sections of the Moonlit Forest in Starsand Island. The ore exhibits unique light-refracting patterns under fluorescent light, giving it a vibrant metallic sheen. Aurorite is the gateway material to endgame tool tiers: it processes into Aurorite Ingot and Eternal Alloy, which feed the Electric Drill and Chainsaw recipes.
Beyond crafting, Aurorite Ore has a notable social use: it is the only confirmed loved gift of Aurelis, the chef who runs Aureleaf Kitchen. Players raising affection with Aurelis often mine extra Aurorite specifically to gift, since most other gift options for him are merely liked or neutral.
Property | Value |
|---|---|
Resource type | Ore (deep Moonlit Forest) |
Visual | Vibrant metallic sheen with light-refracting patterns |
Tool required | Blast Hammer (Intermediate Crafter) |
Found in | Deepest sections of the Moonlit Forest, including the area between Serenity's Rest and Moonlight Meadow |
Processes into | Aurorite Ingot (Furnace III), Eternal Alloy (Furnace III) |
Loved gift for | Aurelis (the chef at Aureleaf Kitchen) |
Aurorite spawns in the deepest forest zones, where high-tier ores cluster together. Reaching these areas requires the full Senior or Expert Explorer progression and is gated behind both Fire and Water Arrow puzzles further upstream.
Serenity's Rest to Moonlight Meadow corridor. The most reliable Aurorite vein cluster, sitting between the two named zones. Bring camp Fluorite to refresh nearby Moonweaver camps.
Deep forest paths. Aurorite, Moonstone, and Flamecore tend to spawn near each other in the deepest sections, including stretches near Darkwater Shore.
The Blast Hammer (Intermediate Crafter) is required to break Aurorite veins. Earlier pickaxes will not register damage on the node, so confirm your tool tier before making the long trip in.
Output | Station | Used for |
|---|---|---|
Aurorite Ingot | Intermediate processing step toward Eternal Alloy and high-tier equipment | |
Eternal Alloy | Electric Drill (6), Chainsaw (6), endgame tools and equipment |
Furnace III is unlocked at Senior Crafter and is itself a costly upgrade. Plan your Aurorite mining around having Furnace III ready, since raw Aurorite has limited use without the higher furnace tier.
Aurorite Ore is one of the few loved gifts in the game whose source is mining rather than cooking or foraging. Each Aurorite gifted to Aurelis grants the standard +15 affection points per day. Players romancing or befriending Aurelis often dedicate a portion of every forest run to Aurorite specifically, splitting between alloy production and daily gifts.
Daily gift cap: One gift per NPC per day, +15 affection. Stockpile and gift one per day.
Quality bonus: Higher-quality Aurorite versions (Bronze, Silver, Gold star) provide a small affection bonus. Grade your stockpile for the daily gift run.
Bedroom chest: Once Aurelis hits 3 hearts, his bedroom chest at Aureleaf Kitchen unlocks one-time and weekly rewards.
Plan the deep forest trip carefully. Aurorite zones are far from camp. Pre-stock food buffs, Fluorite, and Bomb Arrows before heading out.
Mine Aurorite alongside Moonstone and Flamecore. All three high-tier ores cluster in the deep forest. Plan a single trip to gather all three rather than separate runs.
Process at Furnace III. Raw Aurorite has limited utility without Furnace III. Avoid mining heavy stockpiles before the upgrade is built.
Save 5 to 10 Aurorite for gifting. Even if you focus on Eternal Alloy production, set aside a small daily-gift reserve. Star-quality stones are particularly valuable as gifts.
