Red Rose (also referred to simply as Rose) is a playable character in Silver Palace. She is a dancer and self-proclaimed Florian superstar. She appeared in the game's May 2025 reveal trailer as a demonstration of the Investigation System's character scanning mechanic.
Rose has brown hair with red streaks underneath. She wears a headdress decorated with roses and thorns, feathered shoulders, an ashy corset with crimson red detailing, and dark gloves with rose-themed rings. Her eyes are goldish brown with dark, cat-like pupils. A gun is attached to the front of her dress, partially concealed by the garment's structure.
Rose presents herself as flirtatious and theatrical, fitting her dancer persona. Her official profile sets that persona against a much darker register, describing a crimson rose that flourishes in blood-soaked soil, its brilliance shining through a thorny exterior, and closing on the line that only in love or in death shall she be granted forgiveness.

Her in-game quote: "Oh my, don't neck the whole thing... Now, now. Where's your little assistant?"
Rose was featured in the reveal trailer as a demonstration target for the character scanning mechanic. During the trailer, the player scans Rose from head to toe in real time, stopping at specific points of interest to collect information. Scanning reveals her concealed weapon. This shows how the investigation system connects to threat assessment even during social encounters.
Rose was initially presented in a non-playable capacity, and her wider role in the story was for some time unconfirmed. She has since been confirmed as playable in the second closed beta under the name Red Rose, with the official title "The Rose as an Engine of War".

An official character title page later formalized Red Rose's role. It lists her title as Dancer, with the tagline "The Rose as an Engine of War," and describes her as the master of the Midsummer Night's Ballroom, a dancer who never stops, a hunter and an assassin. Community transcriptions of the character title pages file her under a Royalty and Aristocracy grouping. That grouping does not appear on the game's own faction gallery, which names only S.T.A.T.S. and the River Constabulary. The quote on the page reads: "The curtain falls; thus have I come to thee. Long parted, how brief shall our meeting be?"
Red Rose served as the narrator of the July 2026 gameplay showcase titled "The Raven and the Rose," which previewed the Dichotomy beta build.
Red Rose is playable in the Dichotomy Beta. She is a 5-star character of the Saviour class carrying the Ignis element, and the test hands her out through its fourteen-day login track rather than requiring a pull, so every participant could field her. The second test's reward announcement lists her as the 5-star Saviour "Red Rose | Dancer", claimable on Day 3 and again on Day 7 of the Fortnight of Deduction login event.

The numbers below come from the second closed beta build. Figures from a beta are the kind of thing most likely to be retuned before release, and none of them have been published officially.
Name | Type |
|---|---|
Akimbo Overture | Basic Attack |
War of the Roses | Skill |
Grand Finale | Ultimate |
Epic Debut | Tactical Assault |
Onstage Preparation | Passive |
Rose Petals are her resource, capped at 6 and gained on the third and fifth hits of her basic combo and on a level 2 charged attack. Spending the full six triggers Bright Rhythm for 8 seconds, and holding basic attack during it fires a heavy attack that plants 3 Rose Blooms and raises the whole team's critical damage by 50% for 40 seconds, ending Bright Rhythm on the spot. Her ultimate scatters thorns and leaves 8 Rose Blooms on the ground behind them. Blooms detonate after 5 seconds or as soon as an Ignis attack hits them, and her passive turns each detonation into a stacking team buff worth 3% Ignis damage, up to 5 stacks.
Level | HP | ATK | DEF |
|---|---|---|---|
1 | 924 | 79 | 20 |
20 | 1,801 | 154 | 80 |
The first Potential break costs Rectified High-Temp Concentrate x1, Recyclable Whitesand x3, Fledgling Feather x3 and 6,250 Ounces.
Level | Name | Effect |
|---|---|---|
1 | A Prelude in Scarlet | Raises the maximum buff stacks her passive can grant by 8. |
2 | Sanguine Mark | Rose Bloom damage up 100%. A perfect dodge leaves 1 Rose Bloom on the ground. |
3 | Floral Shadow | After her ultimate, the whole team ignores 20% of enemy DEF for 40 seconds. Does not stack. |
4 | Love's Affliction | Doubles the Rose Petals gained from the third and fifth basic hits and from her skills, and doubles the damage of her enhanced consecutive shots during Bright Rhythm. |
5 | Death's Malediction | After her skill, the whole team gains 63% critical damage for 40 seconds. Does not stack. |
6 | A Blooming Finale | During Bright Rhythm her enhanced shots leave 3 extra Rose Blooms, and all her attacks ignore 50% of the target's DEF. |
Her Acquaintance panel in the second closed beta build carries a short profile and a five-level affinity track. None of it has been published officially.

The panel's summary puts her at the centre of the Midsummer Night's Ballroom twice over, as the star dancer under the spotlight and as the person pulling the strings behind it. It says she appears to run an assassination business and has close ties to House Flora, which sits oddly beside her listed dislike of House Luna, Cynthia II's house.
Rose's design uses the rose motif consistently across her outfit, from the headdress to the ring details on her gloves. The contrast between her elegant dancer appearance and the hidden weapon underneath reflects the game's broader theme of deception in Silvernia, where appearances routinely conceal dangerous realities.
