Her Altar Blessing of +25% overall Health is one of the most universally useful effects in the game (it applies in combat, dungeons, and raids), and her unlocks include the Farmstead and improved farming output. A co-op group running long sessions usually picks Ceres early to keep food and health stable.1516The studio's framing of the choice is that after the fall of Rome the gods lost most of their worshippers and their powers; players perform offerings and sacrifices and then choose, together with their friends, whom to restore to glory, and each god has their own set of buffs and technology to unlock along the way.
