Overview

Destined Flower Seeds (命定花种) is a rotating challenge event introduced by the April 9, 2026 update. Each rotation pits the player against four fixed spirits, and each target is locked to a specific personality. The event does not add new spirits to the dex. Instead, it shows existing Season 1 spirits as set-piece encounters with high first-clear payouts.

The first rotation ran from April 10, 2026 at 04:00 to April 24, 2026 at 04:00. A second rotation was announced in the April 13 Letter to Little Rocos to give players another shot at the reward pool after confusion over the first rotation's clear order.

Each target must be fought with a spirit that matches the listed personality to qualify for the first-clear rewards. Teams that bring the wrong personality can still clear the challenge but will miss the personality-locked spirit drop.

First-clear rewards on a given target are one-time. Repeating a target that was already cleared in a prior rotation grants no additional reward, so players should confirm which targets are still uncleared before queuing a second rotation fight.

Destined Brave Medal

The Destined Brave Medal is awarded when a challenge is cleared with a single real-player spirit that never fainted and was never swapped during the fight. The medal grants a permanent dex title and research points, and it can only be earned on first-clear attempts.

Strategy Notes

Check the personality of every spirit you bring. If the personality does not match the gate, the fight can still be cleared but the first-clear spirit drop is forfeited.
Fully-evolved final forms are strongly recommended; the fights are tuned for end-of-line stat pools.
Bring a spirit with wide type coverage or clear immunity to the target's core element to push the solo-clear medal. For example, an Electric or Ground counter is effective against Dream Youyou's Ghost moves and a Fire or Stone counter handles Snow Shadow Doll's Ice attacks.
Use Soul Imprints from each rotation immediately for spirit cultivation awakening rather than hoarding them.

Rotation Schedule

Destined Flower Seeds runs on roughly a two-week rotation. Each rotation pulls four fixed challenge spirits with personality requirements. First-clear rewards on a given target are one-time across the entire season, so once a spirit is cleared in any rotation, repeating it in a later one yields no additional first-clear payout.

Period 4: May 8 to May 21, 2026

Period 4 is the fourth and most recent Destined Flower Seeds rotation. It opened with the May 7 patch and features four new featured spirits.

Magic Beloved Bird	魔眷鸟	Multi-branch evolution boss. A single clear can unlock all branch first-clear rewards if the routing covers each branch's challenge tier.

Period 4 Rewards

Clearing all four bosses yields up to 2,800 Light Prism Crystals across the rotation depending on tier-routing efficiency. The reward pool also includes:

Soul Imprints, one per first-clear target.
A personality-locked spirit drop for each of the four featured bosses.
Magic Dust earned across the rotation.
The Destined Brave Medal (命定勇者) on any single-spirit no-faint no-swap clear.

Using a colored ball (炫彩球) on the captured Period 4 spirit reward locks an excellent personality trait on the captured spirit. Multi-branch families allow a single clear to unlock all evolution-branch rewards if the routing reaches each branch's challenge state.

Period 4 Strategy Notes

All four bosses are clearable at level 60 zero-star. No star upgrades or aptitude grinding are required if the team has core skills unlocked.
Keep Magic full before queuing the challenge; recover items are not available mid-fight.
Bring multi-branch evolution spirits where possible. A single clear with a multi-branch lineup can unlock every branch's first-clear reward.
Match the personality gate on every spirit you bring. If the personality does not match, the fight still clears but the personality-locked spirit drop is forfeited.
Period 4 is one of the last major reward windows before Season 1 closes on May 21. Prioritize it over older first-clear targets that have already been cleared in earlier rotations.
