Added a section covering how the published minimum specification changed between the first and second Closed Alpha Tests, including the 8 GB VRAM floor
11PUBG: Black Budget is a PC title, and its system requirements have been published for its testing phases. The requirements below reflect the latest listed specifications. Because the game is still in development, requirements may change before release.22Minimum Requirements44ComponentRequirementOperating SystemWindows 11ProcessorIntel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600Memory16 GB RAMGraphicsNVIDIA RTX 2060 8GB or AMD Radeon RX 6600DirectXVersion 12NetworkBroadband internet connectionStorage30 GB available space66Recommended Requirements77ComponentRequirementOperating SystemWindows 11ProcessorIntel Core i5-12400 or AMD Ryzen 5 5600Memory16 GB RAMGraphicsNVIDIA RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800DirectXVersion 12NetworkBroadband internet connectionStorage30 GB available space9+Requirements During Testing10+The published minimum has moved once already. The first Closed Alpha Test in December 2025 listed Windows 10 as the minimum operating system with Windows 11 recommended, and asked only for a generic six-core processor without naming a model. When the second Closed Alpha Test was announced in May 2026, the minimum operating system had been raised to Windows 11 and specific processors were named. Both tests, and the current store listing, put a hard 8 GB floor on graphics card memory.12+TestMinimum Operating SystemMinimum ProcessorMinimum GraphicsFirst Closed Alpha, December 2025Windows 10, with Windows 11 recommendedAny six-core processorNVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD equivalent, 8 GB VRAMSecond Closed Alpha, June 2026Windows 11Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600NVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600, 8 GB VRAM14+Because these figures come from in-development test builds rather than a finished product, they are best read as a moving target. The tables above this section reflect the current store listing, which is the most recent published figure.15+Notes1017A stable broadband connection is required because PUBG: Black Budget is an online multiplayer game. The game requires a 64-bit operating system and DirectX 12. For details on how the game plays, see Gameplay.
