Add Flat-Leaf Plant, Snack Set, and Town Development Set mystery gifts
Mystery Gifts are free items distributed to all Pokemon Pokopia players through the Pokemon Center terminal. Gifts can include furniture, food, materials, and exclusive decorative items. Some gifts are claimed automatically via the internet, while others require entering a specific password code.
The Pokemon Company and Game Freak periodically release new Mystery Gift codes through official social media channels, Nintendo Direct presentations, retailer promotions, and physical guidebooks. This page tracks all known gifts and their status.
You must first gain access to the Pokemon Center terminal, which takes roughly 30 minutes to 1.5 hours of gameplay depending on how quickly you progress through the opening section of Withered Wasteland.
Approach any Pokemon Center PC terminal and interact with it.
Select Get Items from the menu.
Select Mystery Gifts.
Choose either Get via Internet (for automatic gifts like the Ditto Rug) or Get with Code/Password (for serial code gifts).
If entering a code, type the 16-character password exactly as shown and press Redeem.
The gift will be delivered to your inventory. If your bag is full, it will be sent to a Storage Box instead.
Tip: You need an active internet connection to claim any Mystery Gift, even code-based ones. The game verifies each code with the server. A Nintendo Switch Online subscription is not required.
The following Mystery Gifts are currently available as of March 2026.
Gift | How to Claim | Reward | Deadline |
|---|---|---|---|
Ditto Rug | Get via Internet (early purchase bonus) | Decorative rug shaped like Ditto | January 31, 2027 |
Flat-Leaf Plant | Serial Code (from participating retailers) | 1 Flat-Leaf Plant (decorative potted plant) | February 10, 2027 |
Town Development Set | Serial Code (inside Official Starter Guide book) | 10 Lumber, 5 Sturdy Sticks, 5 Rocks, 1 Storage Box, 1 Workbench | February 28, 2027 |
Snack Set | Serial Code (unique codes from X/Twitter campaign) | 2 Leppa Berries, 2 Fresh Carrots, 2 Beans | February 28, 2027 |
The Ditto Rug is available to anyone who purchased the game during the early purchase window. No code is required. Select "Get via Internet" at the Pokemon Center terminal and choose the "Early-Purchase Bonus" option. The Ditto Rug is a decorative furniture item that can be placed in any house or habitat. It counts toward comfort level when placed in a Pokemon's home. Available until January 31, 2027.
The Flat-Leaf Plant is a retailer pre-order bonus distributed as a serial code. Participating retailers include Amazon (US and Japan), Best Buy (Canada), EB Games and JB Hi-Fi (Australia), Proshop (EU), and Smyths Toys (UK). The Flat-Leaf Plant can also be obtained through normal gameplay, so the code simply gives you the item early. Codes can be purchased and redeemed until February 10, 2027.
The Town Development Set is a serial code included inside the Pokemon Pokopia Official Starter Guide (Japanese edition). It provides a starter kit of building materials: 10 Lumber, 5 Sturdy Sticks, 5 Rocks, 1 Storage Box, and 1 Workbench. This is especially useful for new players who want to skip the initial material gathering phase. One redemption per save file.
The Snack Set was distributed through a release commemorative campaign on the official Pokemon Information X (Twitter) account. Players who liked the campaign post before March 5, 2026 received unique serial codes via DM. Each code redeems 2 Leppa Berries, 2 Fresh Carrots, and 2 Beans. The sign-up period has ended, but codes already received remain valid until February 28, 2027.
No Mystery Gift codes have fully expired yet. All current redemption deadlines extend into early 2027. The Snack Set campaign's sign-up window has closed (new codes can no longer be obtained), but existing codes still work.
The first limited-time event, "More Spores for Hoppip," runs March 9 to 24, 2026. This event lets players befriend Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff (exclusive to events, not available in normal gameplay). While not a Mystery Gift code, it represents the type of ongoing content distribution that will likely bring future codes.
Check the Mystery Gift menu regularly. New gifts can be added without announcement.
Each serial code can only be redeemed once per save file. Internet gifts (like the Ditto Rug) are also once per save file.
Codes from promotional events are usually time-limited. Redeem them as soon as possible.
If a code does not work, double-check that you have the latest game update installed.
The Ditto Rug and Flat-Leaf Plant count as furniture for comfort level purposes.
You can check previously claimed gifts by selecting "Check Mystery Gift" in the same menu.
