Honey is a valuable animal product in Starsand Island, produced by Bumblebees kept in Beehives on your farm. Beekeeping is part of the Ranching profession and unlocks at the Intermediate Rancher tier. Honey is used as a cooking ingredient in select recipes and sells for a good price on its own.
Getting Honey requires setting up a Beekeeping operation:
Step 1: Reach the Intermediate Rancher tier through the Rancher Trial Walkthroughs.
Step 2: Obtain Honeycomb by chopping trees that have wild beehives attached. Good locations include the forest west of Cloudrest Lake and Windflute Island. White Fig and Banyan trees often have hives.
Step 3: Craft a Beehive (6 Honeycomb + 3 Iron Sheets + 6 Hardwood Planks). Purchase the blueprint from Pastelle's shop.
Step 4: Place the Beehive on your farm and stock it with Bumblebees found inside the wild hives you chopped earlier.
Bumblebees automatically collect Honey from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM every day, producing output at almost no ongoing cost. This makes Honey one of the most passive income sources in the game.

Honey is not available for purchase from any shop, so Beekeeping is the only source.
Bumblebees are one of the lowest-maintenance animals since they work 12 hours a day autonomously and do not require daily feeding like other livestock.
Set up multiple Beehives to increase daily Honey output. The crafting cost is moderate, but the ongoing return is excellent.
Honey sells well raw, but cooking it into Cloud-Soft Toast or Star Canelight increases its value significantly.
When chopping trees for Honeycomb, bring a Pickaxe along in case you encounter ore deposits nearby.
