Overview

Generation 9 (Paldea) adds 19 Pokemon to Pokopia's roster. This generation features the Sprigatito starter line, the Electric-type Pawmi family, the ghostly Charcadet/Ceruledge duo, the coin-collecting Gimmighoul, and the Paldean regional form of Wooper. Gen 9 Pokemon cover a wide range of specialties including Generate, Build, Burn, Grow, and the unique Collect ability.

Notable Generation 9 Pokemon

Sprigatito and Meowscarada

Sprigatito is the Paldea starter in Pokopia. It has the Grow specialty and is found in Tree-Shaded Pink Tall Grass. Its final evolution, Meowscarada (Grass/Dark), gains the Hype specialty alongside Grow and lives in the Heart-Pounding Surprise Box habitat.

Pawmi Evolution Line

The Pawmi family is the premier Gen 9 Electric-type line. Pawmi (Electric) has the Generate specialty. Pawmo and Pawmot (Electric/Fighting) add the Crush specialty, making them useful for both electricity generation and rock-breaking. Pawmot resides in the Cafe Space habitat.

Charcadet and Ceruledge

Charcadet (Fire) is found in the Piping-Hot Lava habitat with the Burn specialty. It evolves into Ceruledge (Fire/Ghost), which gains the Trade specialty and moves to the Malicious Knight's Shrine habitat.

Gimmighoul

Gimmighoul (Chest Form) is a Ghost-type Pokemon found in the Mini Museum habitat. It has the unique Collect specialty, which helps gather coins and rare items. Gimmighoul is one of only a few Pokemon in Pokopia with this exclusive specialty.

Paldean Wooper and Clodsire

Paldean Wooper is a regional variant (Poison/Ground instead of the original Water/Ground). It and Clodsire are found in Marshy Tall Grass and Marsh Fishing Spot habitats. Clodsire adds the Bulldoze specialty to Litter, making it a terrain-clearing option.

Tips

• The Pawmi line is the best Gen 9 electricity source. Pawmot's Cafe Space habitat is a late-game option, but Pawmi can be found early in Breezy Flower Bed habitats.

• Kilowattrel combines Fly and Generate, making it a rare dual-purpose Pokemon for fast travel and electricity in a single habitat slot.

• Gimmighoul's Collect specialty is exclusive and valuable. Place its Mini Museum habitat in a central location to maximize coin gathering.

• Tinkatink and Tinkatuff share the Large Luggage Carrier habitat with some Gen 5 Pokemon (Gurdurr). Build one habitat to potentially attract multiple Build-specialty Pokemon.

• Fidough and Dachsbun share the Best Bread Bakery habitat and pair well with a cooking setup thanks to their bakery theme.
