Chansey is a Normal-type Pokemon known for its healing abilities across the Pokemon series, and it serves a similar supportive role in Pokemon Pokopia. Chansey provides when set as a follower, gradually restoring the player's PP over time while exploring. It also has the Trade specialty, allowing it to run shops at powered Cash Registers.

Chansey's ideal habitat type is Bright. Surround the habitat with bright furniture, torches, and colorful decorations to increase its comfort level. The Chansey Resting Area also attracts Bellossom and Vileplume as secondary spawns.
Chansey's signature benefit is . When Chansey is set as your follower Pokemon, your PP slowly restores over time as you walk and explore. This is especially valuable during long exploration sessions or when using PP-intensive Ditto Transformations like Rock Smash, Surf, and Waterfall.
