Expanded Omni-Gallery curator role with donation loop detail, friendship storyline, gift preferences, and tips.
Mors is a Neighbor in Petit Planet. He is the Omni-Gallery Curator, a being said to have existed for millions of years. He manages a museum of artifacts, specimens, and curiosities gathered from across the galaxies. His birthday is December 8.
Mors is knowledgeable and composed, carrying himself with the patience of someone who has seen countless ages pass. He speaks with authority on topics of natural history, cosmic phenomena, and the artifacts in his collection.
Despite his age, he remains curious about new discoveries and encourages the player to contribute to the Omni-Gallery. His dialogue mixes scholarly observation with the dry humor of someone who has seen most things before but still appreciates a good specimen.
Beyond his curator duties, Mors tends to animal care and health checkups at the gallery. Players can bring animals and wildlife to Mors for examination. This role makes him a central figure for players interested in the game's fauna, connecting the bug-catching, fishing, and wildlife observation activities to a single character.
The Omni-Gallery is Mors' museum. Players can donate fish, insects, minerals, and other collected items to the gallery. Caught wildlife is displayed in habitat-style Eco-Tanks, which the player gradually fills out by exploring the galaxies and catching new species.
Each donation is catalogued and displayed. Filling out sections of the gallery progresses Mors' personal storyline and generates Luca. Donations also reward Omni Vouchers, a side currency that the player can spend back at the gallery for exclusive decor and storage upgrades.
Caught fish from fishing can also be donated to the gallery's aquatic section. The biggest specimens of each species are prized; second-best is fine for completing the index but second specimens of the same fish do not stack additional Omni Voucher rewards.
Mors' quests involve expanding the Omni-Gallery's collection. He may request specific rare items, ask the player to investigate unusual findings, or share lore about the galaxy's history when milestone donations are reached. His animal care responsibilities also generate quests related to wildlife health and observation.
Many late-game items, recipes, and Inspo Cards come through Mors' quest line, making his progression tree one of the more rewarding long-term investments.
Mors' arc is paced more slowly than other Neighbors. Early conversations focus on his role at the gallery and his observations about new specimens the player brings. Mid-bond conversations dig into his long history, including encounters with civilizations that existed long before the present day.
High-bond conversations open up the gallery's deeper purpose and Mors' own quieter reflections on time and change. His progression tree unlocks during these later stages and grants access to rare lore items, decor pieces, and storage upgrades.
Mors favors rare-specimen and lore-themed gifts: unusual fish caught with the Fishing Rod, rare insects from bug catching, mineral samples from Mining and Crafting, and ancient-looking artifacts. Common items and decorative-only objects rarely move his friendship meter.
Bring the best specimen of each species to Mors first. Donating the largest fish or rarest insect of each type maximizes both gallery completion and Omni Voucher rewards.
Save mineral and artifact items from Starsea Voyage trips for Mors. Voyage-only items tend to fill gaps in his collection that local farming and mining cannot.
Plan donations around the daily reset. Donating multiple specimens in one in-game day still rewards full vouchers, but Mors' dialogue arcs only progress one stage per day, so spreading donations across days keeps the friendship loop moving.
