Overview
Starsea Voyage is the space exploration feature in Petit Planet. Players pilot a personalized interstellar vehicle through the Star Stratum, traveling to distant islets scattered across the galaxy. These expeditions yield rare resources, unique items, and sometimes encounters with new Neighbors. Esassani is the pilot and travel companion.
Lumia Batteries
Each voyage requires a Lumia Battery to power the vehicle. One battery provides enough fuel to visit at least 2 Islets initially; with vehicle upgrades, players can visit 3 to 4 Islets per battery. Lumia Batteries can be obtained in two ways:
Ranking up a Neighbor's Planette: Each Neighbor has a personal Planette that rewards Lumia Batteries when leveled up.
Purchasing with Loomi: Batteries are available in a daily shop with limited stock. Prices increase with each purchase during the day.
The Star Stratum
The Star Stratum is the space through which the vehicle travels between islets. During transit, players can collect Luca drops floating in the Stratum. The environment changes visually depending on which part of the galaxy the player is traveling through.

What You Can Find on Islets

Neighbor companions
Up to 2 Neighbor companions can join the player on each voyage. Companions help gather items on islets, increasing the total haul from each expedition. Which Neighbors are available depends on who is currently living on the player's planet.
Vehicle Upgrades
The interstellar vehicle can be upgraded using Luca drops collected in the Star Stratum. Upgrades increase the number of islets that can be visited per battery, improve collection efficiency, and unlock cosmetic customization options for the vehicle.
Co-Op Voyages
Starsea Voyage supports cooperative play. Players can invite friends to join their expeditions, exploring islets together and sharing discoveries. This ties into the game's multiplayer features.
Final Beta Map and Encounters
The Final Beta adds a Starsea Map displaying Islet information and exploration records. Uncharted Islets can offer local resources, puzzles and encounters with Neighbors. Players can bring a Neighbor or two on the journey.
The September 21 notes name Heyu, Manman and Tika as new Neighbors who can be encountered on voyages and invited to settle. Heyu and Tika also appear by those names in the current website showcase; that showcase uses Manna rather than Manman for its Action Actor. The available public material does not settle that naming discrepancy.
