Overview

Mobai is a Neighbor in Petit Planet and the player's Life Coordinator. He is one of three initial Loomi Corp employees on the player's planet, alongside Glenn and Esassani. Mobai is a tea-loving dog who provides guidance, hands out the first tools, and rates the player's housing decor each time they finish a room.

Role as Life Coordinator

Mobai is the player's guide through the opening hours. He explains the Luca Arbour, hands over the starter Tools (Mattock, Watering Bucket, Shovel), and introduces the Planet Maker app used for Planet Customization. As the planet grows, Mobai's role shifts from tutor to ongoing advisor: he scores housing layouts, suggests decor improvements, and gates house-upgrade rewards behind hitting certain rating thresholds.

Personality

Mobai is friendly, unhurried, and quietly proud of his Loomi Corp role. He greets the player with a fresh cup of tea most mornings and treats every new improvement to the planet as a small celebration. His feedback on housing decor is encouraging rather than critical, which keeps the early scoring loop welcoming for new players.

Housing Score

A core gameplay function tied to Mobai is the housing score. Each time the player rearranges a room, Mobai walks through and assigns a rating based on the choice of furniture, color cohesion, and the way decor fits the available space. Higher ratings unlock house upgrades: extra rooms, exterior renovations, and the ability to invite specific Neighbors to live nearby.

Gift Preferences

Mobai leans toward tea-themed and cozy interior gifts. Items connected to Glenn's shop's warm-color stock, plus any Inspo Card decor described as "homey" or "tea-related," tend to produce the largest friendship gains. Avoid harsh-cold or industrial decor when gifting.

Because Mobai is present from the opening minutes, his storyline is the most steadily paced. Early conversations focus on the practical work of growing a planet; mid-bond conversations discuss his role at Loomi Corp and his views on the player's growing space; high-bond conversations dig into his own history with the company. Mobai's quests reliably award Neighbor Luca and house-upgrade tokens, which makes him one of the steadiest sources of progression early on.
