Loomi Corp

Initial article on the galactic organization that employs the player and the initial Loomi Corp trio.
Loomi Corp is a galactic organization in Petit Planet that manages planets and employs the player as a newcomer planet-tender. The company is the framing device for the early game: the player is dispatched to a small, undeveloped planet with three Loomi Corp employees on hand to teach the basics, then gradually grows the planet into a flourishing world while a wider universe of Galaxies and Multiplayer opens up.
Loomi Corp is the in-game justification for the player's role and the source of the starter Tools and the Luca Arbour. The company also runs the player's local shop and provides the Starsea Voyage travel program. Most of the early-game tutorial steps are presented as Loomi Corp work assignments.
As the planet develops, Loomi Corp's presence fades into the background and the player's own progression with the Luca Arbour and visiting Neighbors becomes the main driver. The Loomi Corp framing remains in dialogue but the company is no longer issuing day-to-day work assignments after the opening hours.
Three Loomi Corp employees are present on the player's planet from the start of the game. Each one covers a different pillar of early progression:
Neighbor | Profession | Role |
|---|---|---|
Life Coordinator | Tutorials, housing score, house upgrades, Planet Maker introduction | |
Shopkeeper | Daily rotating shop, Dough economy | |
Starsea Racer | Player chauffeur for Starsea Voyage expeditions |
These three are unique in that they live on the player's own planet rather than on their own Planette in another galaxy. They are also the first three friendship arcs the player can develop.
The company's reach extends beyond the player's planet. Several non-trio Neighbors mention Loomi Corp in dialogue, and the Galactic Bazaar runs partly under Loomi Corp logistics. The company's exact corporate structure, leadership, and motives are not fully spelled out in current builds; later content updates may expand the lore.
The player's role in Loomi Corp is intentionally low-stakes: the newcomer is responsible for cultivating one small planet, not for representing the company across the galaxies. The work is presented as a personal project supported by the company, not as a corporate-loyalty grind. This framing matches the game's cozy life-sim tone and keeps the player's progression focused on building a planet they care about.
The Galactic Bazaar social hub introduced in the second closed beta gave Loomi Corp a more visible presence outside the player's home planet. Players can spot Loomi Corp branding around the Bazaar and chat with off-planet employees who serve as quest givers and event hosts. This expanded the company from an opening-hours framing device into a recurring presence across the multiplayer hub.
Loomi Corp is sometimes referred to as "Loomi Co" in press materials and earlier coverage. The exact in-game styling is "Loomi Corp" in current builds; both refer to the same organization.
The Chinese name of the game (Xing Bugu Di, meaning "star valley") frames the planet itself as the central focus; Loomi Corp is the framing organization but not the in-game protagonist. Players who progress past the opening hours rarely interact with Loomi Corp executives or higher-level corporate structure.
