Overview
Farming is one of the core daily activities inPetit Planet. Players grow crops on their planet's farmland, tending plants from seed to harvest.Yunguo, the cultivatorNeighbor, is the player's guide for agricultural activities. Harvested crops generateLuca, can be used incookingrecipes, sold forDoughatGlenn's shop, or gifted toNeighbors.
How Farming Works
Players clear a plot of land, till the soil, plant seeds, water the crops, and wait for them to grow. Different crops have different growth times. Watering crops regularly speeds up growth, while neglected plants grow slower or may wilt.
Real-Time Clock
Petit Planetuses areal-time clock synchronized with HoYoverse servers. This means the game does not have traditional seasonal crop rotations like Stardew Valley or similar farming games. Crops grow based on real-world time passage rather than in-game seasonal cycles. This system also prevents players from manipulating their device clock to speed up growth.
Neighborassistance
One of the distinctive features of farming inPetit Planetis thatNeighborsassist with farm work.Neighborshelp tend crops, and in many cases"Neighbors are mostly taking care of it,"reducing the manual labor the player needs to perform. This frees players to spend time on other activities while their farm continues to produce.
Strength System
Farming actions consumeStrength, the game's energy system. Tilling, watering, and harvesting each cost a small amount of the player's Strength pool. Strength is restored by eating food. Managing Strength across farming, fishing, mining, and other activities is an important part of the daily routine.
Seeds and Supplies
Seeds can be purchased fromGlenn's shop or found through exploration duringStarsea Voyages. Some seeds may also come fromNeighborprogression trees and friendship rewards.
Adding toLuca
Harvested crops can be offered to theLuca Arbouras part of theLucasystem. Higher-quality and rarer crops produce moreLuca. Farming consistently is one of the most reliable ways to accumulate Luca and advance the planet's development.
