Overview

Esassani is a Neighbor in Petit Planet. She is a Starsea Racer affiliated with Loomi Corp who serves as the player's chauffeur during Starsea Voyage expeditions. She calls herself the "Starsea Tornado."

Name and Spelling

Two English spellings of this Neighbor's name have appeared in official material. The 2025 character reveal introduced her as Esassani, and that spelling carried through the first beta cycle. Publisher material issued in July 2026 instead uses Elsasani, which is also the form the wider community settled on during the second beta. Treat Elsasani as the current English spelling and Esassani as the earlier reveal-era form; both refer to the same character.

Reveal

Esassani was revealed alongside the Halloween "Pumpkin Night" event comic, which introduced her to the community before the closed beta. She is one of the earlier-confirmed neighbors and appears in early promotional material.

Appearance

Esassani is a pink rabbit character with long, expressive ears. She wears a sporty outfit suited for racing, often accessorized with goggles pushed up onto her forehead. Her color palette is bright and playful, matching her energetic personality.

Personality

Esassani is bold, fast-talking, and always ready to go. She loves speed and takes pride in her piloting skills, earning her the self-given title of "Starsea Tornado." She can be impatient and restless when grounded for too long, but she is loyal and reliable as a travel companion.

Role as Chauffeur

Esassani drives the player during Starsea Voyage trips through the Star Stratum, taking them to distant islets and unexplored corners of the universe. Each voyage costs Lumia Battery fuel and lands the player at a procedurally chosen islet where they can gather rare materials, recruit new neighbors, or trigger story events.

During travel she provides commentary, points out interesting sights along the route, and occasionally races other pilots she encounters. The mid-voyage banter is one of the small touches that gives Starsea Voyages personality beyond the resource-gathering loop.

Loomi Corp Trio

Esassani is one of three initial Loomi Corp employees assigned to the player's planet at the start of the game, alongside Mobai (the Life Coordinator) and Glenn (the Shopkeeper). Each one covers a different pillar of early-game progression: Mobai handles tutorials and housing scores, Glenn runs the daily shop, and Esassani opens up off-planet exploration.

Friendship Storyline

Early conversations focus on her racing background and her enthusiasm for the next voyage. Mid-bond conversations dig into her competitive streak and a friendly rivalry with other pilots she has met across the galaxies. High-bond conversations open up her quieter, more reflective side, especially around the work of keeping a vehicle running far from home.

Esassani's quests typically revolve around vehicle maintenance: sourcing replacement parts, helping her tune her racer for a particular environment, or challenging her to beat her own speed records on specific routes. Completing her requests yields friendship progress, Luca, and Lumia Battery rewards that feed back into the Starsea Voyage loop.

Gift Preferences

Esassani favors speed-themed and travel-themed gifts: vehicle parts, racing decor, fast food, and bright warm-color accessories. Soft pastel decor and slow-paced trinkets land less well. Items from Glenn's shop's red and orange rotations tend to be safe picks, as do crafted items made from materials gathered on a recent voyage.

Planette and Progression

Like other Neighbors, Esassani has her own Planette that can be ranked up by the player. Ranking up her Planette grants Lumia Batteries used to fuel further Starsea Voyages, creating a self-reinforcing loop. Her progression tree unlocks new voyage destinations, faster travel options, and racing-themed decor pieces.

Tips

Save a recent voyage souvenir for Esassani. A material gathered on a recent trip with her tends to score well as a gift, since it ties to a memory she shares with the player.

Pace Starsea Voyages around her dialogue resets. Batteries are limited by the shop's daily stock and by how often a Planette can be ranked up, so planning trips around her dialogue keeps friendship progression moving without stranding the day's activities on the home planet.

She is one of two characters named for the game's floor presence at Gamescom 2026, where she is scheduled to appear for meet-and-greets alongside the hands-on demo. The announcement described her as the Starsea racer, matching the role given at her reveal.
