Voice Cast

Persona 4 Revival features a fully re-recorded voice cast. The English-language cast has been recast in its entirety, while the original Japanese cast reprises its roles from the prior versions of the game. Atlus confirmed parts of the lineup across the June 2026 reveal, the June 18, 2026 broadcast, and a July 2026 run of character trailers, with several roles still to be announced. Confirmed Voice Cast

The table below lists the cast members confirmed so far. Roles marked "Not yet announced" have not been revealed for the remake. The Japanese cast is reported to carry over from the original game and its expanded version.

A Full English Recast

The English voice cast is entirely new, following the same approach Atlus took with Persona 3 Reload. The actors who voiced the main party in the original release and in its expanded version are not returning. The original English voices of Yosuke, Chie and Yukiko each confirmed publicly that they were not returning, before the remake was formally announced. Atlus has not made a role-by-role statement about the rest of the original cast, so this page treats only those three departures as documented.

Atlus began rolling out individual character videos in July 2026 to confirm the recast, releasing them roughly a fortnight apart. The protagonist and Rise Kujikawa were spotlighted first. The protagonist's video named his Japanese performer rather than an English one, while Rise's confirmed Abby Trott as her English voice, followed by a July 10 video for Yosuke Hanamura that highlighted Paul Castro Jr. in the role. A July 20 piece for Chie Satonaka paired new gameplay footage with confirmation of Anne Yatco as her English voice and Yui Horie returning in the Japanese role. The run continued on August 7, 2026 with Yukiko Amagi, confirming Brianna Knickerbocker in the English role. Kanji Tatsumi, Naoto Shirogane, Teddie, Tohru Adachi, and the Dojima family have not had their English actors announced yet, although the first three are confirmed to appear in the game.

Japanese Cast Returns

Unlike the English side, the Japanese voice cast remains the same as the original game and its expanded version. Atlus's official character pages print the Japanese performer beside each profile, confirming Daisuke Namikawa as the protagonist, Showtaro Morikubo as Yosuke, Yui Horie as Chie, Ami Koshimizu as Yukiko, Rie Kugimiya as Rise Kujikawa, and Kana Hanazawa as Marie. Namikawa also narrated the Japanese edition of the June 2026 broadcast.

Fully Voiced Scenes

A major change for the remake is the scope of voice acting. Every line has been re-recorded, including minor events and conversations that were not fully voiced before. Social Link interactions are now fully voiced, and Atlus has noted that some dialogue has been slightly altered alongside the new recordings. The result is a far more extensively voiced presentation than either the original release or its expanded version. For the systems these scenes tie into, see Gameplay Overview and Story and Setting.

Roles Still Unannounced

Several roles remain open. The English voices of the protagonist and Marie have not been announced either, even though both have an official character profile and a confirmed Japanese performer. Kanji Tatsumi, Teddie and Naoto Shirogane are confirmed to appear in the remake, since the Deluxe and Premium editions include costume sets cut for each of them, but neither their English nor their Japanese performers have been named and none of them has an official character profile yet. Tohru Adachi and the Dojima family are in the same position. Given that the Japanese cast has returned in every role announced so far, the Japanese performers for these characters are likely to be the returning ones, but Atlus has not said so and this wiki does not list them until it does.
