Expanded with confirmed staff roster, role details, and location context
Eibon Antique Shop is the main base of operations in Neverness to Everness. Located in the Bridge Crossing district of Hethereau, Eibon serves as both an antique shop and the headquarters for an independent group of Anomaly hunters. The shop relies on taking Anomaly Commissions from the public to stay financially afloat, handling supernatural incidents that the Bureau of Anomaly Control may not prioritize.
The player joins Eibon as its first "unlicensed" Anomaly Hunter, a distinction that sets the protagonist apart from the Bureau's officially sanctioned agents. Working out of Eibon gives the player access to commissions, story missions, and interactions with the shop's colorful crew of staff members. The shop functions as a hub for upgrading equipment, accepting quests, and advancing the main storyline.
Eibon is staffed by a diverse crew of Espers and one Oddity, each bringing their own skills, personality, and background to the team. The following table lists all confirmed Eibon staff:
Name | Role | Rank / Element | Details |
|---|---|---|---|
Proprietress | S-Class Cosmos | Wields an Umbrella Katana. Has a deep understanding of treasures and enjoys alcoholic beverages. | |
Leader | S-Class Anima | Fights with Fangs and Claws. The "Ichi-daime" (head) of the Coluccis family, the most renowned family in Bridge District. Participated in the V-class Wrath GR Cloud Crisis. | |
Member | S-Class Incantation | Quirky and innocent personality. Accompanied by her gluttonous companion Kiroumaru. Known as the rule maker for the fridge sticky notes. | |
Butler | A-Class Incantation | Full name "Alois V Adler." Fights with a Cane Sword and Sunyas. Calming and reliable, he prepares meals for everyone at the shop. Always keeps his eyes closed. | |
Bodyguard | S-Class Chaos | Quiet and easily embarrassed. Owns multiple eyepatches, which have become part of her signature look. | |
Member | A-Class Cosmos | Despite having a baby face, Edgar is very mature for his age with old-fashioned mannerisms that contrast his youthful appearance. | |
Restorer | Oddity (non-human) | A TV-headed, squirrel-like creature who communicates by repeating his own name. Three-time winner of "Eibon's Best Restorer." | |
Appraiser | S-Class Cosmos | The player character. The first unlicensed Anomaly Hunter to join Eibon. |
Eibon serves as the emotional and narrative center of NTE. The relationships between staff members drive much of the game's character development, and the shop itself becomes a place the player returns to between missions. Conversations with crew members reveal backstory, unlock side quests, and deepen the player's understanding of Hethereau's supernatural world.
The shop's status as an independent operation creates an interesting dynamic with the Bureau of Anomaly Control. While both entities work to manage anomalies, they operate under different rules and motivations. Eibon takes commissions from the public for pay, while the Bureau handles incidents as a government mandate. This parallel structure means the player often finds themselves navigating between the two organizations throughout the story.
Eibon is situated in Bridge Crossing, the historic Old Town district known for its quirky, one-of-a-kind shops tucked away in cozy hidden lanes. The shop fits naturally into the district's character: a place that is too unique to thrive anywhere else but flourishes in Bridge Crossing's laid-back atmosphere. The location also connects Eibon to the Coluccis family's influence, as Nanally is both the family head and Eibon's leader.
