Containment Test
The Containment Test was the first global closed beta, running from July 3 to July 16, 2025 on PC. It supported English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese for both text and voice acting. No in-game purchases were permitted, and all player data was reset after the test concluded. Players registered through a survey on the official website starting May 15, 2025.
Co-Ex Test
The Co-Ex Test (Co-Existence Test) was the second closed beta, running from February 6 to February 20, 2026. It expanded to PC, PlayStation 5, PS5 Pro, iOS, and Android. Major new content included crime mechanics with a wanted level system, new vehicles (muscle cars, supercars, motorbikes) with first-person driving, co-op for the Pink Paws Heist, and urban activities like fishing, taxi driving, Mahjong, rhythm games, and working at coffee shops.
Twitch Drops
Three Twitch Drops campaigns were conducted to distribute beta access. Players linked their PWG account to Twitch and watched NTE-category streams to enter prize pools. Completing the viewing quest did not guarantee access; winners were randomly selected and notified by email.
Gamescom 2025
Neverness to Everness appeared at gamescom 2025 in Cologne, Germany (August 20-24, 2025) with a playable demo booth at Hall 10.1, Stand A070. The game was playable on both PC and PlayStation 5.
Booth activities included:
Racing Championship: A daily competition where the top 3 fastest lap times won Amazon gift cards.
Merchandise Giveaway: Players who pre-registered and followed @NTE_GL on Twitter received a gamescom bag and character sticker sheet.
Lucky Draw: Additional prizes including badges, Taygedo fans, and holographic cards.
Social Media Challenge: Players completed a 15-minute demo, recorded gameplay footage, and posted it on social media to unlock access to additional booth activities.
