Overview
Officer Whisker is the cosmetic glider livery awarded to every pre-registered Neverness to Everness account through the social media milestones program. It is delivered to the in-game mailbox at server open and applies as a skin to the glider equipped in the traversal system, changing the glider's visual appearance without affecting any of its mechanical properties.
The livery unlocked at the 5 million combined follower threshold across all official Hotta Studio channels: X (Twitter), YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Discord, and Facebook. Players did not need to follow each individual channel; every unique follower across every platform contributed to the combined total.

Visual Design
The Officer Whisker livery features a playful design themed around the cat-themed mascot character that appears across Neverness to Everness's marketing campaign. The mascot character ties into the broader cat-girl character roster (most notably Nanally and her Coluccis Family theming) and the studio's playful approach to community engagement.
Because the item is purely cosmetic, equipping or unequipping Officer Whisker does not change glider speed, stamina cost, traversal range, or any of the other glider mechanical attributes. Players use it for visual customization only.
How It Was Earned
The 5 million combined follower target was a community goal published as part of the pre-launch marketing campaign. The total counted unique followers across six official platforms, with each follower contributing equally regardless of which platform they followed on.

Players who already followed the game on any of these platforms before the launch contributed to the milestone automatically. New followers were added to the combined count in real time during the campaign window. The milestone was reached during the pre-launch period and the reward unlocked for every pre-registered account.
Equipping the Livery
Equipping Officer Whisker is done through the glider customization menu, which sits inside the cosmetics tab. After server open and the launch mailbox delivery, the livery appears in the player's wardrobe and can be applied at any time. The glider itself does not need to be of a particular type; the livery skins the active glider regardless of which glider is in use.
Open the cosmetics tab from the main menu (Esc on PC, Touchpad on PS5, the cosmetics button on mobile).
Select the Glider Livery section.
Choose Officer Whisker from the list of unlocked liveries.
Confirm to apply. The change takes effect immediately and persists across sessions.
Why This Reward Format
Distributing a cosmetic glider livery as the 5 million social milestone reward serves several launch-marketing purposes at once: it incentivizes pre-registration, encourages social media follows, gives every active player a visible badge of having participated in the launch, and creates a shared visual marker that distinguishes Version 1.0 launch players from later joiners. Cosmetic-only rewards also avoid the F2P balance concerns that come with handing out characters or weapons to a wide audience for free.
Because Officer Whisker is tied to the social milestone (not pre-registration milestones directly), it is technically separate from the in-game pre-registration character Haniel and the various currency rewards. Players received both sets of rewards stacked: the glider livery from the social milestone and the in-game items from the numbered pre-registration milestones.
Tips
Equip Officer Whisker on a glider you actually use. The cosmetic only shows when the matching glider is active; an unused glider in the menu does not display the livery.
Pair the glider livery with vehicle paint and outfit choices. Hethereau's neon-lit aesthetic plays well with the playful Officer Whisker theme; coordinated cosmetics are the heart of the launch loadout look.
Officer Whisker is permanent. Once delivered, the cosmetic stays on the account and can be equipped or unequipped at any time without affecting anything else.
Players who did not pre-register cannot earn Officer Whisker through any other path. The reward is permanently linked to the launch pre-registration social milestone and is not on a future re-issue rotation.
