Madripoor is the island nation that makes up one of the three headline settings in Marvel's Wolverine, alongside Canada and Japan. PlayStation's own copy names it the Marvel island nation of Madripoor and names its two districts directly: Hightown and Lowtown.

The split is the defining feature of the place. Official storefront copy lists the Hightown and Lowtown districts by name as the parts of Madripoor the campaign moves through. Logan spends his time in Lowtown, which is where the Princess Bar is, and the material shown so far leans on its narrow streets and market levels rather than on the wealthier half.
Previews describe the area as scoped up into a couple of detailed city blocks rather than an open district, which fits the game's structure: the campaign is linear and built from purpose-made areas rather than one open map. See Locations and Story and Setting.
The chase sequences here are among the most-shown parts of the game. The Hand kidnap Walter Langowski, which sets off a rooftop pursuit that runs over railings, across gaps between buildings and along ziplines, with the markets running below. A glowing red trail marks the quarry's route during the chase, and a Chase Assist option reduces the movement speed of chase targets. See Traversal and Combat.
Place | What is confirmed |
|---|---|
Run by Tyger Tiger. Logan's watering hole and a walkable hub after the first act | |
Market levels | Run below the rooftop chase route. A destructible-stall boss arena appears in the Trophies list |
Rooftops and ziplines | The chase route itself, built for Traversal |
Tyger Tiger runs the Princess Bar and serves as the anchor to this part of the world; official material sometimes shortens the name to Tyger. Mystique's Never Have I Ever scene and Sabretooth body-slamming Logan both happen here. The Hand are the faction most associated with the chase through the district, though they are present from the opening mission onward rather than only in Madripoor. See Characters and Enemies and Factions.
Madripoor has a long history in the comics. None of it is confirmed for this game. What is documented here is what official material and hands-on coverage of this game have actually shown: two named districts, a bar, a market level and a chase route.
