As a Horrens Animon, Salabel is connected to fear, both feeling and inflicting it, along with curiosity, an attribute typically shown in purple. Its Demon typing ties it to dark and fiendish concepts. The Horrens trait, when activated, can bypass an opponent's resistance and make the next attack super-effective, at the cost of extra SP on top of the move's normal cost. That makes Salabel a useful pick for players who like cracking open the per-species weakness puzzles that replace a global type chart in this game. Like the other starters, its stage-three final evolution differs between the Logos and Mythos paths even though stage two (Vilender) is shared.
Salabel is a Demon Animon. LumenTale assigns weaknesses and resistances per species, revealed by scanning a creature in battle, rather than from a single fixed chart. Scan Salabel to read its exact matchups. See Type Effectiveness Explained for how scanning works and Hidden Types Explained for the secondary element an Animon can reveal.
