Zhao Yun is a Three Kingdoms-period general adapted into the Honor of Kings MOBA, most famous for the Battle of Changban (208 CE) where he reportedly fought through Cao Cao's army to rescue Liu Bei's infant son.

Zhao Yun is an Honor of Kings MOBA hero who has not been confirmed as a playable Resonance in Honor of Kings: World as of the April 10, 2026 S0 Season launch. He is one of the most famous generals of the Three Kingdoms period and a popular figure in the broader Honor of Kings universe.

Zhao Yun is not in the confirmed S0 Season launch roster of Honor of Kings: World (April 10, 2026). The verified 11 S0 Resonances are: Child of the Primal Flow, Dongfang Yao, Xi Shi, Meng Ya, Master Lu Ban, Sun Bin, Wang Zhaojun, Jialuo, Mulan, Kai, and Leng Chun. Zhao Yun may appear in Honor of Kings: World as a future playable Resonance (several MOBA heroes have been shown in pre-launch trailers and demos) but has not been officially confirmed as a playable character. Historical Background

The historical Zhao Yun (died 229 CE) was a military general under Liu Bei during the late Eastern Han Dynasty and early Three Kingdoms period. He is most famous in fiction for the battle at Changban (208 CE), where, according to Romance of the Three Kingdoms, he fought through Cao Cao's army alone to rescue Liu Bei's infant son. His reputation in Chinese historical fiction combines martial skill, loyalty, and humility, and he is one of the "Five Tiger Generals" of Shu Han in the novel's ranking.
