Overview

Xi Shi (西施) is a Resonance (共鸣) in Honor of Kings: World, confirmed in the S0 Season launch roster on April 10, 2026. She is a member of Jixia Academy and functions as a 辅助 (Support) Resonance whose kit revolves around soft crowd control using gauze-themed abilities. Her S0 tagline on world.qq.com is "玩非所重，知己共平生" ("What matters is not the game; a true friend is a lifelong companion"). She is described in 3DMGame's launch coverage as having treasure-hunting-related environmental content at Jixia Academy, positioning her as the Star Team's face and social hub character.

Xi Shi's MOBA signature is a two-stage enemy pull, and her HoKW kit preserves this through the 纱缚之印 and 幻纱法阵 combo. The primary combat pattern is to mark enemies with 纱缚之印, drop 幻纱之灵 orbs near the formation point, cast 幻纱法阵 to cluster enemies, and then detonate the orbs for cascading AoE damage.

Combat Role

As a Support Resonance, Xi Shi provides crowd control and positioning utility that lets the party's damage dealers land clean burst windows. Her 心无旁骛 buff adds a defensive/reflective layer to her support toolkit, which gives her value even when she is not actively using her control abilities. In co-op boss encounters, her primary job is to maintain enemy positioning and set up ally burst windows.

Playstyle Tips

• Use 纱缚之印 to mark enemies at the start of a fight, then recast to pull them into a cluster

• Drop 幻纱之灵 orbs ahead of the pull's destination so they detonate on clustered targets

• Save 幻纱法阵 for moments when the party's high-damage abilities are off cooldown

• Activate 心无旁骛 when you expect incoming damage; the reflective on-hit heal sustains you through pressure windows

• Pair with Offensive Resonances whose burst damage benefits from clustered, stationary targets

Launch Progression

Xi Shi is one of the earliest story-linked Resonances in the launch build. Current new-player guidance lists her among the main-story unlocks, and by the time Jixia Chapter 5: Proof of Strength begins, her Companion Invitations route is already available.

• She is also repeatedly recommended as the safest early support investment because she brings both control and healing value.

• Chapter 4 explicitly works well with a prepared Xi Shi build because the Guiling route favors crowd control.

Story Presence in Early Jixia

Xi Shi stays visible across the whole early Jixia arc. She is a main companion in Jixia Chapter 4: Jixia Secrets, remains relevant in the Chapter 5 invitation window, and continues into Jixia Chapter 6: When Stars Converge where her control tools still define several boss and mob pulls.
