The Nine Seers (First and Second)

Initial version documenting the Nine Seers prophecy
The Nine Seers are a prophesied group of individuals in Honor of Kings: World whose combined power is fated to repair the broken Sky Dome and bring an end to The Wilting. Per the Honor of Kings lore portal, the Wilting and the broken Sky Dome will end when the Nine Seers "patch up the sky." The Seers are a central long-term goal of the main narrative: finding, convening, or awakening them is implicitly one of the big-picture objectives the protagonist is moving toward across the main story's chapters.
The lore framing of the Nine Seers is clearly structured as a prophecy rather than a faction or an organization. It does not specify whether the Nine Seers already exist as identifiable individuals, whether they have to be found one by one across Primaera, whether they must be chosen or awakened from among latent candidates, or some combination of the above. What the lore does make clear is that the Sky Dome's damage is beyond the power of any single individual to repair, and that the Wilting will persist as long as the Sky Dome remains broken. Any lasting resolution to the central world crisis therefore runs through the Nine Seers.
The Sky Dome is a vast atmospheric phenomenon that originally regulated Flow energy distribution across Primaera. It hangs over the Misty Marshes and acted as both a source and a regulator of the Flow, channeling energy through invisible pathways along rivers, ley lines, and the roots of the Heavenly Tree. When the Sky Dome was damaged during the War of the Gods, this regulatory function was compromised, and Flow stagnation and pollution became possible. The Nine Seers prophecy is therefore tightly tied to Primaera's metaphysical infrastructure, not just its politics.
The Honor of Kings lore also names Augran, a ruthless high priest, as "the one who can put an end to the Wilting." This overlaps with the Nine Seers prophecy in an unresolved way. Whether Augran is one of the Nine Seers, whether his methods represent a competing alternative path to ending the Wilting, or whether the two threads converge in the main story has not been publicly detailed by TiMi.
Provides a long-term goal for the main story that explains why the protagonist travels through multiple regions
Offers a structural excuse to introduce nine distinct named characters across the game's chapters
Grounds the world's central crisis in a prophecy that the player can work toward rather than a disaster to survive
Ties the Sky Dome, the Flow, and the Wilting into a single narrative problem with a defined solution
The identities of the individual Nine Seers
Whether the player character, the Son of Primordial Flow, is counted among the Nine
Whether any current playable heroes are Seers
The specific ritual, location, or artifact used to patch the Sky Dome
Whether the Seers must be convened in sequence or as a group
Expect much of this to be revealed across later main story chapters rather than in the launch content window. This article will be expanded once first-party material confirms additional details.
