He is a famously powerful warrior from the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history and a signature hero in the broader Honor of Kings universe.

The verified 11 S0 Resonances are: Child of the Primal Flow, Dongfang Yao, Xi Shi, Meng Ya, Master Lu Ban, Sun Bin, Wang Zhaojun, Jialuo, Mulan, Kai, and Leng Chun. Lu Bu may appear in Honor of Kings: World as a future playable Resonance (several MOBA heroes have been shown in pre-launch trailers and demos) but has not been officially confirmed as a playable character. Historical Background

The historical Lu Bu (died 199 CE) was a general of the late Eastern Han Dynasty who earned a reputation as the period's most formidable warrior. He is best known in Chinese historical fiction, particularly Romance of the Three Kingdoms, where he is portrayed as virtually unmatched in single combat, wielding a halberd called the Fang Tian Hua Ji (方天画戟) and riding the legendary Red Hare horse. His reputation for martial ability is balanced in fiction by a reputation for political unreliability and treachery, making him a complex figure.

MOBA Identity

In the Honor of Kings MOBA, Lu Bu is a warrior hero whose kit centers on rage-fueled attacks and wide area damage. If he is added to Honor of Kings: World in a future season, his kit would likely be rebuilt as a 对抗 (Confrontation) Resonance drawing on his legendary martial identity.

Availability in Honor of Kings: World

Lu Bu (吕布) is a hero from the Honor of Kings MOBA. As of the Honor of Kings: World S0 Season launch (April 10, 2026), Lu Bu is not a playable Resonance (共鸣) in the open-world action RPG. The S0 launch roster contains only 11 playable Resonances: Child of the Primal Flow, Dongfang Yao, Xi Shi, Meng Ya, Master Lu Ban, Sun Bin, Wang Zhaojun, Jialuo, Mulan, Kai, Leng Chun. Any skills or kit descriptions on this page that reference playable gameplay should be read as MOBA reference material, not as Honor of Kings: World launch content.
