Before Starting Chapter 4

3. Drop through the gate interior to trigger the Godpattern-Infected Gatebreaker boss fight. The fight is heavily tilted in the party's favor because Xi Shi groups enemies while Yao holds the front line.

4. Chase the escaping target deeper into Guiling, moving through small combat packs, a moving bridge, and multiple hidden-bridge rooms.

5. Use the pressure plates and visible guidance lines to cross the invisible bridge sections leading first to Xi Shi and then to Yao.

6. Ride the elevator up, open the large door, watch the mural scene, and finish the elite swordsman encounter that closes the first half of the chapter.

Mystery of the Godpattern

1. Travel from the academy side toward the Forbidden Zone and activate the nearby waystone before pushing onward.

2. Follow Yao through the nighttime stealth route. Patrol robots can be avoided by crouching in grass, but being spotted does not fail the chapter because the spawned enemies can simply be defeated.

3. Use the scan function and the quest marker to move through rooftops, ledges, and a long corridor into the archive interior.

4. Search the archive shelves on both floors for the required clues, using the elevator to move between levels and the highlighted yellow doors to stay on the main route.

5. Descend into the lower archive chambers, collect the disc from the white pedestal, and rotate the mechanism until the blue energy line connects correctly through the wall conduits.

6. Read the recovered records, trigger the final conversation sequence with Yao, and close the chapter's investigation arc.
