Overview
The HarmonyOS edition of Honor of Kings: World is a dedicated client for devices running HarmonyOS 5 or HarmonyOS 6. At the April 17, 2026 mobile launch, the HarmonyOS edition is in an invite-only paid technical test (限量付费不删档测试) rather than in open availability. The Android and iOS clients launched openly on the same date; the HarmonyOS edition is a separate track.
The HarmonyOS edition is tracked in this wiki as a distinct platform because its access, build, and rollout schedule are managed independently of the Android and iOS clients. It is not a rebranding of the Android build running in compatibility mode.
Invite Test Format
Test type: paid, non-wipe, technical test. Progression made during the test is retained when the edition moves from the test to the general rollout.
Capacity: limited. The test is not open to every HarmonyOS device owner at once.
Invite delivery: invitations are sent directly by the publisher, primarily via SMS. There is no public sign-up channel attached to the April 17 mobile launch.
Platform coverage: HarmonyOS 5 and HarmonyOS 6. Older HarmonyOS versions are not supported by the test build.
Relationship to the April 15 Pre-Download
The April 15, 2026 mobile pre-download window explicitly excluded HarmonyOS devices. Pre-download opened for iOS users at 00:00 Beijing Time and for Android users at 08:00 Beijing Time on April 15. HarmonyOS device owners were directed to wait for a separate small-scale technical test rather than to sideload the Android build.
Scope of the Test
The technical test covers client performance, thermal behaviour, input handling, and network stability on HarmonyOS-native hardware. It is not a balance test or a content test; the build shipped to HarmonyOS testers carries the same S0 Season launch content as the PC, iOS, and Android clients.
The publisher has not published a formal cross-matchmaking statement for the HarmonyOS edition. Until such a statement is issued, the HarmonyOS edition should be treated as potentially segmented from the main PC-iOS-Android matchmaking pool for PvP modes. Cross-save behaviour for HarmonyOS test accounts has not been documented in public announcements.
Open Release Timing
No public date has been announced for when the HarmonyOS edition leaves the invite test and enters the general availability tier alongside the iOS and Android clients. The simplest expectation is that it rolls into alignment sometime during the S0 Season, but the publisher has not committed to a specific date as of April 17, 2026.
