Guan Yu is an Honor of Kings MOBA hero who has not been confirmed as a playable Resonance in Honor of Kings: World as of the April 10, 2026 S0 Season launch. Guan Yu is one of the most iconic figures from the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history and a core presence in the broader Honor of Kings universe.

Guan Yu is not in the confirmed S0 Season launch roster of Honor of Kings: World (April 10, 2026). The verified 11 S0 Resonances are: Child of the Primal Flow, Dongfang Yao, Xi Shi, Meng Ya, Master Lu Ban, Sun Bin, Wang Zhaojun, Jialuo, Mulan, Kai, and Leng Chun. Guan Yu may appear in Honor of Kings: World as a future playable Resonance (several MOBA heroes have been shown in pre-launch trailers and demos) but has not been officially confirmed as a playable character. Historical Background

The historical Guan Yu (died 220 CE) was a general serving the warlord Liu Bei during the late Eastern Han Dynasty and the Three Kingdoms period. He is remembered for his loyalty, martial skill, and the signature weapon Green Dragon Crescent Blade (青龙偃月刀) attributed to him in the novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. After his death, Guan Yu became a subject of religious veneration across Chinese culture, eventually reaching the status of a god of war, brotherhood, and righteousness. He remains one of the most widely worshipped figures in Chinese folk religion today.

MOBA Identity

In the Honor of Kings MOBA, Guan Yu is a warrior who specializes in momentum-based charges on his mount Red Hare (赤兔马). His kit rewards sustained movement and timing charge-based attacks. If he is added to Honor of Kings: World in a future season, his mounted-charge combat identity would be a natural fit for the action RPG format's mount system.
