Overview

East Aerfall Highlands is a region in Primaera containing the remnants of a forgotten civilization. The official Honor of Kings: World website describes it as a place where ancient Mechanoids and crumbling structures tell the story of a once-advanced society.

Environment

The Highlands sit at a higher elevation than the surrounding plains. Rocky terrain, wind-swept ridges, and exposed cliffsides define the landscape. Scattered throughout the area are mechanical constructs, broken automatons (called Mechanoids), and ruins of buildings that appear far more technologically advanced than anything in the current era. The juxtaposition of natural highland scenery and ancient technology gives the area a distinctive feel.

Ancient Mechanoids

The Mechanoids are robotic constructs left behind by the previous civilization. Some appear dormant while others may still be active as enemies. Their design combines clockwork mechanisms with materials that don't exist in the current age, suggesting that the civilization that built them had access to technology powered by the Flow or the Ark Core.

This ties into Primaera's lore about the gods creating the Twelve Wonders and the technology that preceded the current human civilization. The East Aerfall Highlands may contain clues about what happened to this earlier society.
