Dongfang Yao (东方曜) is a Resonance (共鸣) in Honor of Kings: World, confirmed in the S0 Season launch roster on April 10, 2026. He is a sword-wielding member of Jixia Academy. His Honor of Kings: World kit adapts his MOBA dash-based moveset with a new layer: the Flow marker he drops during abilities can now be released mid-air, opening aerial combat opportunities that did not exist in the MOBA version. Combat Role

Dongfang Yao is an 强攻 (Offensive) Resonance focused on melee burst damage through rapid sword strikes and repositioning dashes.
