Remove speculative v1.1/v1.2/v2.0 roadmap, replace with only publicly confirmed development milestones
Honor of Kings: World has been in active development since at least 2021. TiMi Studio Group and Level Infinite have described the game as a long-term live service project with a multi-year content plan, but as of April 2026 the studio has only publicly committed to a Spring 2026 launch window. Specific post-launch version numbers, regional rollout milestones, and content cadence have not been announced. This article tracks what has been publicly confirmed and flags widely circulated claims that remain unverified.
These milestones have been announced directly by Tencent, Level Infinite, or TiMi, or reported by first-hand press coverage from trusted games media outlets:

February 10-23, 2026 | Paid closed beta test | NDA, data-wiping, PC and mobile |
April 2026 | Overseas closed PC alpha | First hands-on outside of China for select players in NA, EU, SEA |
At GDC 2025 the development team discussed the live-service philosophy for Honor of Kings: World. TiMi has said the game is intended to be played for years rather than months and that the launch content represents only a portion of what is planned for the long term. Lead designer Simen Lv committed in press interviews to ongoing content updates, though the studio has not published a firm cadence in English-language materials.
Several secondary outlets and community sites have published specific roadmap claims that TiMi has not confirmed in an official English-language press release. Readers should treat these as unverified until Tencent publishes a public roadmap document.
Specific version numbers such as v1.0, v1.1, v1.2, and v2.0 for launch and post-launch updates
Specific post-launch region drops (Forbidden Mountains, new continent expansions, Chang'an or Datang chapters)
Specific hero or raid release cadence beyond launch
Pet systems, player housing, and farming content as post-launch additions (some of these are confirmed as launch features, not post-launch drops)
A level cap of 100 at launch and 120 in a v2.0 expansion
The following features have been directly confirmed in official marketing, hands-on previews, or press kits:
Cross-play and cross-save between PC, iOS, Android, and Tencent Cloud Gaming
Co-op dungeons and boss encounters for two to four players
AI companions available to solo players for cooperative content
Dual Flow Style equip and real-time swap combat system
Crafting, home building, and farming systems
Grappling, gliding, flying mounts, and underwater exploration as traversal tools
Jixia Academy as the central story hub, with an open world extending across multiple biomes of Primaera
The global release for regions outside mainland China has not been dated as of April 2026. Level Infinite is handling the international rollout and has confirmed the game already has English localization in place, with the first overseas closed PC alpha running in English in April 2026. Steam and Epic Games Store listings have been reported in secondary coverage but not confirmed with wishlist pages or official partner announcements. The global launch is expected to follow the China release but specific dates remain to be announced.
