Overview

Cangmang Riverboat (沧浪楼船) is an area that opened in the S1 World Beginning Season second-half patch of Honor of Kings: World on July 9, 2026. S1 launched on May 29, 2026, and its first half ran through approximately July 8, 2026; the July 9 mid-season patch opened Cangmang Riverboat as new story and exploration content. The Calamity Beast Twin Shadows (灾兽双影) challenge, announced alongside this content, opened separately on July 31, 2026. The Resonance Fei Han, originally announced for this second-half patch, did not ship alongside it and was later confirmed for July 23, 2026.

• Live: opened in the July 9, 2026 second-half patch of the S1 World Beginning Season

• Setting: a multi-deck riverboat framed as an ancient ship holding long-sealed secrets, with new story and exploration content

• Companion content: the Calamity Beast Twin Shadows (灾兽双影) challenge opened on July 31, 2026

• Fei Han, the mid-season Resonance once tied to this patch, did not launch with it and was re-dated to July 23, 2026

• Pending: full boss roster detail, party-size specifics, run length, recommended gear score, and reward tables, which CN guide coverage is still publishing

Naming and Setting

The Chinese name 沧浪楼船 combines 沧浪 (Canglang / boundless waves), a classical Chinese reference to a long-flowing river or great body of water, with 楼船 (loushuan / multi-storied warship), a classical naval craft. The pairing places the dungeon in a multi-deck riverboat setting consistent with the water-themed geography of the new Caiyun Basin region.
